‘Japanese Reptiles & Amphibians Creatures’ is a giclee print of an original 11x14” sumi ink painting featuring reptiles and amphibians from Japan. Part of a 3-painting series also including birds and sea creatures.

About the Painting

It was the final painting in my series of 3. I’ve been working on a project called the 100 Day Project ( #100DaysofHowitFeels ), painting animals that express pandemic-related feelings/experiences, and the first of the 100 was a turtle. A few days later I painted a frog. That piqued my interest to learn more, and it was time to start this piece dedicated to reptiles and amphibians in Japan.

Much like the birds and fish, there were far more than I could possibly include in one painting so I chose a variety that stood out while researching.

About the Prints

This archival art print is professionally printed in the Bay Area. The print is on matte, acid-free 340gsm 100% cotton fiber base material with the same texture as the original watercolor paper.

The measurements include the white edge so it can be framed with or without a mat/mount. Please contact me with any framing questions.

The print will be packaged flat in a clear sleeve with a backboard in a rigid mailer for protection to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

The print will be signed on the front and dated on the back in pencil.
