Before: Finished my grad school apps and packed in 2 days.

Here is my stuff for the next 6 month, pretty good right? My sweet brother is bringing the bigger suitcase with him next week when he meets me in Japan.

It was very sad to say goodbye to these people who came to see me off (plus my mom, not pictured here) who are so dear to me, that I won't see for a while. Goodbyes are painful but I will focus on the time ahead.

During: -Current read: Forgotten God by Francis Chan. So far it has been excellent and perfectly applicable especially to the next 6 months -14.5 hour direct flight...wow. But after going on a total of 7 hours of sleep combined in the past three days

After: Sander and his friend Anthony came to pick me up, we dropped off my stuff and I got to experience Friday night out in Hong Kong. Loving it so far! On the train from the airport:
